Featured Project and part of the Road Ahead: reimagining Mobility Exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, NY (2018 – 2019).
GO Outdoor Table, is a new platform for outdoor activity. It provides a focal point and gathering place, a large work surface with access to data and power on or off the grid, and an optional canopy with lighting. It supports work and social connection, individual and group activity, in the outdoor environment that research confirms is good for the human mind, body and spirit. It is a product we believe will bring special value and enhanced experience to corporate and college campuses, transit and healthcare settings.
GO’s frame is hollow like an airplane wing, channeling technology within sleek and simple forms. It is made of robust aluminum extrusions and castings, and its scale make it a beckoning and iconic element in the landscape. It is offered in three basic configurations: dining height, standing height and standing height with optional canopy that enables people to work, meet or just plug in and connect, sitting or standing. The optional canopy was designed to convey its function as an iconic product, reduce glare on personal devices, serve as support for technology (lighting and a solar panel), and act as a spatial anchor in open spaces. The platform is available in hardwired and solar v he U.S. and to close automatically when a device is plugged in to make them weather and corrosion resistant
