Planned, designed, and built in just 17 months, this project creates a comfortable environment where patients can receive cancer treatment and support previously available only at hospitals. The Cancer Institute of Dallas provides state-of-the-art care in a facility specifically designed to comfort patients, their families and friends. It incorporates strong geometric forms and volumes to designate space for the program’s intent. The spaces created offer solitude for the patient, a healing environment, and foster a sense of hope. I served as Lead Project Architect, Designer, and Client Liason for this project.
